This State and Federal project covered 1,000,000SF, 10 story Medical Center and was set to replace the existing hospital damaged in 1994 by the Northridge Earthquake. The building is designed to withstand  greater than 8 magnitude earthquake. Charles was director of healthcare interior at Perkins and Will for this project. Perkins and Will was the architect of record and  I.M. Pei design architect.
